The District Attorney’s Office is pleased to announce that a Senior Law & Safety Summit will be held Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Conference Center at Charles Schwab & Co. in Lone Tree.

Attendees will have access to legal and safety information for seniors, their families, caregivers and service providers. The event will include 12 workshops on issues that most senior citizens will face or should consider, including estate planning, advance directives, Medicare, Social Security, fraud prevention and financial exploitation.
The event will feature informational booths from service providers and agencies, and an Ask-A-Lawyer program where attendees may have a free 15-minute consultation with an elder law attorney on a first-come, first-served basis.
Each attendee will receive the Colorado Bar Association’s Senior Law Handbook, a 500-plus page resource manual with chapters on 34 legal issues concerning seniors. A continental breakfast and box lunch will be served.
